Re: So John...about that Verbzilla

One more thing...you asked what our personal settings are.

Last time I played through mine this is how I left it:

Mix: 9 o'clock
Delay: 2 o'clock
Time: 1 o'clock
Tone: between 10 and 11 o'clock

And the '62 Spring Reverb is the only setting I've been using.

What's your thoughts now that you've had it a few days?

Lew

So far I've only used it last week that first night that I got it,as I use my Vox VTH head here at home and it's got reverb...I'm hooking up with my band Tue.night and will use it again...I will say that I Liked it straight away and I liked the reverb I was getting through my Marshall with the 63 spring setting.....

Crappy photo but here's my current setting..

Went and picked up one today. I really like it, I keep it on the 63 spring channel as well. Though I'm already trying to think of a reason to use the octo. It really polishes my sound. It sounds more "proffesional" I guess and I already can't stand to hear my guitar without it.

Yeah the Octo setting is kinda "trippy" but there are alot of things on the pedal I see myself never using....But the 63,spring,and hall settings(for me)were worth the price of the pedal. I've used other reverb pedals in the past, but this one is the best by far!

Re: So John...about that Verbzilla

I'd like to get one of these pedals. I think I could use the Octo and Cave settings very well, too. Those are just little added bonuses. So the '63 Spring, Spring and Hall settings are winners?

Re: So John...about that Verbzilla

I really like the Plate setting too, for those classic Bluesbreaker-style reverbs - Clapton, Green, Taylor :13:

It's a great pedal. Works with a Boss power supply too.

Yep.......I use a Boss PSA 120 with mine.

This pretty much nails it for me. After a new amp purchase, I'm getting one of these.

Re: So John...about that Verbzilla

I just picked one up really cheap at Guitar Center....here's the question - you guys know about the rebate, right? http://www.line6.com/news/general/490 Which other module are you going to get? With the Verbzilla, you can apparently have your choice...

The only other pedal I was interested in was the Echo Park, but it's not part of the free module...Wasn't too impressed with the other samples I heard on Line 6's website....I'll probably pass on the second module?
