Sold the Rivera - What to buy next hmmmm?

I sold the Rivera Knucklehead, fetched a nice price and made out well.

When the guy plugged it into a Marshall cab and played it - wow it sounded soooo nice, crystal chimey cleans, and sweet tube crunch.

Yet, somehow, it wasn't working for me.
Worst part, I bought it to be my "versatile" amp, and a week later found a marshall 6100 30th Anniversary model - and as far as I am concerned that amp just kills! Does everything the Rivera could do, but then some. It doesn't have the same chime on the cleans, or the Ninja Boost -but the 6100 has great cleans. The distortion on the Rivera was a huge warm crunch, but Marshall kinda owns that territory overall, no?

I thought of getting a Rivera series II Knucklehead (I like the 6L6 w/Bass boost) but I might be done with them for a while. I have pondered getting a Fender combo, but which one? Super Reverb? I don't like 4x10s that much. Deluxe Reverb?

Mesa Lonestar? I might be tired of Mesa as well.

I have always wanted a Bogner, maybe it's time to save up for that? Uberschall? Shiva? Maybe a Soldano SLO?

Thus far I have never tired of the many Marshalls I have played- from Jubilees, JCM800s, JTM45's and Plexis.

I just fear I might have too much of the same.

I don't know shiite about the Marshall 6100. Not even sure what circuit that is.

I'll put a good word on a JTM45 circuit. They can do the fender buttery cleans and get a really nice crunchy grind to them when cranked. I'm about to do a 6V6 version at some piont soon. I'm looking forward to hearing the results.

+1, Scott......JTM45 is right up there with the blackface Deluxe and tweed Twin in the running for ultimate desert isle amp.

You think you could use the JTM45 just for it's cleans?

Think it could do R&B or Jazz? or am I dreaming?
I have only used them for rock blues.
