I understand all guitars so i can appreciate many. Thin necks, fat necks, hollow or solid as long as its a guitar i will love it.

I like 335ish, Explorer, and LP styled shapes best (even though I don't have an LP or Explorer). I'm also becoming more enamored lately with Tele-ish styled guitars as well. Strat-ish (including all the similar double-cuts out there) is also a good look... just not my favorite. Not such a fan of SG or Offset styles, but I'd sure take one if it was offered!
I guess when it comes down to it, I like (or can at least appreciate) all the different styles I've seen... just to varying degrees. I think I'm actually more drawn to finishes than to styles.
Necks... now that's a whole other discussion for another thread!

I don't like the Firebird shape, and the ML shape doesn't do anything for me, either. For some reason I dislike a Tele-shaped guitar with a bunch of features that traditional Teles don't have. I also don't care for the Fender designs that aren't Strats or Teles. In other news, it makes no sense to me why I would like the Cadillac style, but I do.

I wouldnt refuse ANY guitars... haha But, there are a few I certainly wouldnt pay for. That reverse V thing Gibson did a few years ago and that new Music Man St Vincent guitar are the first things that come to mind right now that I do not care for

Hmm, not so sure I hate any style...don't personally care for the cookie cutter shaped guitars nor Danelectros and Rickenbacker stuff...but I don't hate them.

i hate exotic shapes.. basically anything not strat/soloist shaped.. only partial exception is the gibson SG and LP or the occasional tele ..really depends on the individual guitar

While I don't hate them, I've just never been able to bond or enjoy playing any PRS guitars. I think they are wonderfully crafted guitars, but I just don't get along with them. The same goes for Rickenbackers and Fender Strats. I love their tone, and I've even owned them. However, I just can't play them, and don't like the way they play. As far as acoustics go, I just don't dig Ovations. I also don't care for Gibson acoustic guitars either. The only ones of those I've ever liked the sound and playability of are the SJ-100/200 Models. I'm also not a fan of 24 fret guitars, but I love 24 fret basses.

I'm not a big fan of SuperStrat styles. Not the classic Jackson/Charvel styles, but like Ibanez "take a Strat and make it pointy" styles. Also, pretty much anything put out by BC Rich. I get that they're going for a specific market, and they do that market well, but at the same time, ugh.

While I love Fender basses, I don't like their guitars or any that look like them. Have no desire to ever own a Ric, Gretsch (too gaudy), or anything pointy except the original shape (Gibson/Epi V). For me, most of the best guitar designs emerged during Ted McCarty's time at Gibson.

I don't like teles with sunburst finishes or rosewood fretboards ... to me a tele just doesn't look right with it. A proper tele to me is butterscotch with a one piece maple neck...

Super strats with deep cutaways and/or carved tops. Firebirds (though I do like thunderbirds and jazzmaster and jaguars) MLs, offset Vs, ESP Mystique Horizon III and F-series, most BC Rich designs (do love Mockingbirds though). Pretty much all of the pointy an/or "Metal" guitars

Mockingbirds (they are supprisingly comfortable and balenced)

Dislike Vs, Kellys, Warlocks, etc. Pointy ain't my thing, but I would still use them.
