Ok....as soon as I got off of here last night I bought it...lol. Yall guys really should have known I was going to. I don't even know why I said stop me. I knew I was going to buy it...I think. I've been totally jonesing for one exactly like the one in the picture for a looooong time. It's a '76 reissue, all mahogony. Yeah GJ, it's just like the pic. It has the gold hardware and I'm gonna drop my gold covered set of 59's in it. I think that'll totally fire it up!! I figured for a grand, what the hell. I'll sell some of my Epiphones and recoup the cost. Plus, having 8 Gibsons is better than having 7.

Where'd you get it from? That's gonna look and sound uber-sweet with the Gold 59's.

I thought that i heard from someone that the epi's were just laminate and not full korina for the bodies? correct me if Im wrong....but if they are full korina...thats the next f**king guitar I buy! :burnout:

I gotta say, for a joke in Guitar Center one time when some rednecks were walking by I picked up an explorer and started belting out the freebird solo, and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it sounded. Much better than a flying V. Don't like Flying V's.
