Did you know the scientific name for cat scratch fever is toxoplasmosis? That wouldn't have made nearly as good a song. The first time he belted out "Toxoplasmosis..." and then hit the riff everyone would've left the theatre.

Just as you have done to this thread

If I am not mistaken that is an American Shorthair they have a horrible mid scoop and very muddy bass. You can brighten them up with 1 Meg pots and a .022 Orange drop but why bother when there are other cats on the market cheaper that sound just as good. I would suggest an American Wirehair with a C8 and 500K pots seeing the American Shorthair are plagued with production problems and fleas.

That is just your opinion. Going by your past posts I know you are not a fan of Telecatsters

???

I actually have 2 or 3 Teles, and I really like them...most especially the snappy tone. But I prefer the feel of a Strat and the warmth of a LP when I want it. So my #1 is a Schecter C1 with a P-Rails bridge pup...I have close to a Strat feel, the mahogany warmth of the LP, and with my P-Rails and Triple Shot I can get a pretty good Tele bite with the Rail coil. The best combination of all worlds.

My latest build was a fluorescent orange Tele which I really love and enjoy playing. I only wish now that I would have cut a belly relief and arm contour into it.

But, yes, I'm not much of a cat fan.

I like my tone to be a little soft and furry, while being well preserved in the mix...
