Sometimes all you need is a trusty acoustic

This dinky little thing. Picked it up used for 1 crisp hundred. It's a bit smaller than a standard Dreadnought or something, which makes it cool for sitting on the couch just messing around with whatever. It sounds pretty nice, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't pick it up because of how it looks. I dig it.

I believe so. I play some folk on the side with my band, and my lead player got one because they sound so cool for folk. I told him to get a six string banjo, but he said that fingerstyle isn't the best with him, and for banjos you have to be able to roll.

Six string banjos are awesome. I find myself playing the same stuff differently whenever I pull this baby out.

But I love my Ibanez Talman when I'm just layin' round the shanty...

Main and only 6 string accoustic is Taylor 814CE. (I have a yamaha 12)

I tried a res for the first time at GC the other day.. was kinda cool You play those the same as a guitar right?

yepp but I use mine in Open C with slide most of the time but it sounds great in standard tuning aswell.. it sounds way different then a regular acoustic but for my preferences It sounds great!
