Songs im learning

I mentioned that I was learning a few hagar songs and briguy mentioned a song that I had not listened too which turned out to be a kool song so I found the guitar pro file off UG and started learning it. NOW.. be kind with any comments.. I literally just learned it but still needs a bit of work. Only thing I didnt bother learning was the short solo which I just improv'ed something in E minor pent. . Overall the playing is accurate but made several mistakes but as i said.

IMO.. not great playing but far from bad.. I feel like such a hack sometimes though..lol

Amp is my PC and Guitar Rig 4 witrh my goto crunch patch. Guitar is a 1995 Squire bullet that i rebuilt awhile back.Pickup in play is an Iron Gear Hot Slag

I also learned this song thursday.. Took abit longer than the one above. That intro was fast and those 16th note triplets gave me some problems initially. I didnt learn the solos but i might still do so. There are a few mistakes but nothing super bad. I just lost my spot twice..lol

Right on! That was good.
Man, I gotta start listening to old Hagar stuff again. Haven't listened to that stuff in yeeeeaars. Almost forgot how rockin' the Red Rocker was.

Re: Songs im learning

thx guys.. Im not a great player but i know im not bad. Been playing awhile but took and extended break. Then slowly started getting into playing more a few years ago.. Started really playing more this year though and its showing.

Thought id put this guitar in the rotation for a bit. Only reason she is in the livingroom is because ive been meaning to add two switches.. just too lazy to start the task. In anycase.. The strat plays pretty well

Re: Songs im learning

SWEET!!

Those two songs are kinda similar in that the main riff is a crapload of pull-offs... but they're both also really fun to play.

Great job! [emoji1303]

yea... what i thought too..but "planets on Fire was a bit faster on some parts and gave me some issues initially.. my hand was not used to so many pull-offs and was getting fatigued too fast imo...
