Spot the Gibson

We might not be able to tell here all the time, but you can see the headstock from the back of the room. When it comes down to Epi vs Gibson, many times it just comes down to the headstock.

Left: big post bridge, frets over binding, rosewood board, Epi.

Right: Nashville bridge, binding nibs, black(AF) ebony board, Gibson.

Man, there is ALWAYS more than just the hs shape. I’m no guru but a little attention to detail will always get you there. I’ve yet to be fooled by any copy, though some of the old MIJ stuff takes a minute.

I like the Imperial system because it forces my brain to exercise more.
Of course, as I have said before, the best is working with tech that is a mix of both.

Well, if consider converting numbers through basic and timely equations exercising your brain better than exercising your brain by solving MORE problems in the same given time by using a better system.. well,..yes.

Imperial is a good computation brain exercise for sure.

Remember when teachers said you need to know certain math skills because you won't have a calculator on hand in real life.... :lmao:

Man were they wrong!
