The AL tends to be a somewhat polarizing design in that people totally love it or they're indifferent. I've never seen anyone hating on that guitar.

I'm in the former camp - I absolutely love that axe. I liked the "Jetsons" thing it had going on with the body but when I tried it out, the thing that was immediately apparent to me was that the body balances perfectly.

The mahogany bodied HH ones with rosewood necks sound incredible.

You couldn't give me one of those guitars. Well, you could, but I would turn right around and sell it or give it away to a charity for the blind. I don't care how great those play or sound, they're hideous.
