Re: starting a new build: Pine body telecaster with a curly maple top
Will do guys. I know what I am after as far as looks go. Figuring out the best way to achieve it ....well thats where Research research research comes in. I want a vintage vibe going. I was originally going to use Zinsser's amber shellac. I realize now this has wax and some claim it could have issues with anything over it. However I have read that Nitro works. I am considering at this point using a clear zinsser's seal coat with the amber over it. I dont mind if it wears quickly as it will just add to the relic aged look im want.
