"Into The Void" from Black Sabbath's "Master Of Reality" album. I still enjoy listening to the entire album. :)

First Heavy Metal song is ( Honestly) Number of the Beast. My bro had got the greatest hits of Maiden back in 1990. First album would be MEtalica Kill Em All.

Re: Steve Harris SPB-4 Giveaway

Would have to be Deep Purple - Made In Japan.

My Dad played it to me when I was a kid and it was the first vinyl record I ever got for myself!

Re: Steve Harris SPB-4 Giveaway

My first metal song was Helloween's I Want Out
And first metal album I bought was this Reinventing Hell, Best of Pantera.. Oh It was metal.. And still is!

Re: Steve Harris SPB-4 Giveaway

First heavy metal song that I've heard was Iron Maiden's " Two Minutes to midnight. According to that, my first heavy metal album was their "Powerslave" :)

Re: Steve Harris SPB-4 Giveaway

Can't remember the first song, but first album that really got me into metal was Metallicas Black Album. I think I just lost all chances of winning :D

Re: Steve Harris SPB-4 Giveaway

My introduction to heavy metal was the Ozzy Osbourne album 'Bark at the Moon'. My first Iron Maiden album was 'Live After Death'. I was literally floored and Steve Harris became my primary influence. \m/

Re: Steve Harris SPB-4 Giveaway

It was either Blizzard of Oz or ...And Justice for All. Both my parents like metal \m/

Re: Steve Harris SPB-4 Giveaway

the 1st time i heard ozzy osbourne "tribute". the randy rhoads unaccompanied solo just melted my face off

Re: Steve Harris SPB-4 Giveaway

Although more in the hard rock vein, my uncle giving me AC/DC's Back in Black sometime before I was 10 was what got me loving heavy music.

So I'd guess it'd be Hells Bells by AC/DC

Re: Steve Harris SPB-4 Giveaway

I installed this pickup in a Fender Mike Dirnt Signature bass. Wow did it upgrade the sound! Still a classic P Bass sound but it cuts through a live mix better than any other basses I use. It's become my number one bass for gigging, especially loud shows.
If you have to play in venues with lousy acoustics, this pickup will help.
