"Stomp 'n' Strut" - Rockin' blues

For once I decided to use my OCD for all the distortion on the rhythm guitars. I wanted a thick/fuzzy kinda sound, and the OCD does that really well when the drive is cranked. Just a bit of EQing on the guitars, some compression on the "bass" and a bit of EQ on the drums to get everything sitting nicely in the mix.

Pickups used:
L: Little '59 in series
R: Hot Rails bridge in parallel, but mounted in the neck
Lead 1: Custom 8
Lead 2: Custom 8 + Little '59 together
Lead 3: Custom 8

All guitars went through the OCD, and straight into the front end of my JCA100H, clean channel, tone knobs, presence and depth all at 12 o' clock, and I mic'd them with an SM57 on a G12-65. For the leads I used the JCA lead channel, same EQ settings though.

hahahahaha that's awesome, glad you like it. It's actually the fairly character-less ibanez stacked single in the middle position of my strat, pitch shifted down an octave.

I will probably re-record the bass for the whole album once i've got the songs all written/demo'd....will likely borrow a bass from a friend or rent a jazz bass from L&M.
