Stoopid Question #3,678,963

Not really stupid, as there are many staggers. The vintage stagger has the B as the lowest most of the time. Also the keyed baseplate, if there is one, faces the bridge. You can see the top banner pic here, which has the logo on the bridge side.
 
In a normal Strat the rout in the body only allows the pickup to be mounted one way, since both the rout and the pickup baseplate are sort of a V-shape..
