Re: Stromberg Jazz Guitars
If you are looking for a Archtop guitar, and your are not looking to spend a lot of money, look at the Tacoma Archtop. I just got one about 2 weeks ago. It is all solid wood. MAple back and sides, with a carved spruce top. It comes equipped with a EMG HB mounted on the pickguard. It has an Ebony bridge, tailpiece. I changed the PUP(single coil Tom Anderson) and pickguard (solid Ebony). They come in a few different colors as well. Mine is Sunburst. They run about $2500. But as you know this is cheap for a solid wood Archtop guitar. I am very happy with it so far. It has really good acoustic tone, and sounds really sweet plugged in. I am playing it through a Carvin X Amp, which is similar to a boogie. Very nice combination. Now all I have to do is learn to play some smooth Jazz!!!
