Suhr vs. Fender Custom Shop strat

Hi which one is better? Suhr classic pro or Fender 1954 NOS strat? Suhr is 400-500$ less, they are both top quality... Which one?

Better?
You would not know until you have tried them, and then with guitars, no two guitars are anything alike.
My guess is that most Suhr are probally more consistant than what Fender is doing.

Really can't determine "better"...no two guitars are 100% identical. I love my Fender USA Strat so I can only imagine a Customer Shop would be amazing but if my Suhr Riot & Shiba pedals are any indication of Suhr's guitars then I'd say they would be top notch.

Fender Custom Shop. It'd be hard to get much better. And they don't have that ugly headstock, and aren't a copy of some other company's design. The '54 reissue is a much classier guitar to my sensibilities.

I have the Fender '54. Nice work on this one...great sound and play. Hard to put down sometimes, it's very comfortable!

I personally wouldn't choose the '54 reissue; I'd go with a '60. I think though I'd choose a Fender Custom Shop model over the Suhr. They're wonderful instruments, and I'd expect it to appreciate in value more than the Suhr.

Or...do what I did, which is get a G&L, option it out the way I want it, and laugh all the way to the bank with all the money I saved.

G&L is a great option for sure!

For "better" though I really think it is a personal thing
