I love the wet, chimey bite Swamp Thangs have on sound clips. But I also love the tight brightness and focus of V30s. But currently I select 4 ohms on my Laney AOR 50 watt and 4 ohms on my JCM900 4X12 with GT-75s for the sound I am happy with, I want in the future to try X of V30s and Swamp Thangs, with this 4 ohms option available? Is it doeble ?

I like the Swamp Thang as the "floor", in an oversized Mesa vertical Recto 2x12 cab, with an EVM-12L in the top position. The vertical Recto 2x12 has more interior volume than the horizontal 2x12 models.
The only reason why I went with a Swampy in the first place, is that I was disappointed with months-long ebay searches for another EVM-12L. I really like the fleshy thud of the Swampy, combined with the forward thrust of the EVM-12L.
The Swampy is a great base. Add your flavor of speaker on top.:usa1:
