I started a sweep thread once here and got ridiculed to the point of tears by a bunch of blues-rock dinosaurs

still painful to think about

I guess if it's pentatonic it's okay. Batio-hatin' bearded basterds anyway.

I like to take the blues scale and blend it with harmonic minor when I get sweepy

When I sweep I use the pentatonic scale. It's just easy for me. I try to move between the positions and add a few notes out of the scale.

Man, I think I am just incapable of learning the scales and how they work
