Anyone have any good instructional dvd suggestions on how to learn Sweep Picking?

I'm not sure if its on DVD, but the Gambale video is pretty good for this stuff. I hate his playing, but his right hand is pretty serious...there is a short, but good segment in Petrucci's video too.

rusty cooley has a ton of video's on sweeping.... check his website....also, in the new guitar player, he gives a lesson on sweeping.

John Petrucci's video is good, but I also highly reccommend Paul Gilbert's.

All my knowledge of instructional videos is a bit dated, but for what it's worth...

The first Gambale video concentrates on sweep picking as a means of picking everything, not just arpeggios across strings in the classic Bach-rock wank cliche style.

Vinnie Moore covers both Alternate and sweep picking arpeggios in his first video.

Paul Gilbert's first video had a tiny bit on sweeping. Mostly string skipping, though.

Greg Howe covers sweeping a bit on his first video, as does Richie Kotzen.

The thing is, they all kind of show the same stuff, apart from Gambale. Simple triad shapes up and down across three, five or six strings.
