Just bought a bridge P'up on eBay. SD, copper bottom with a 1R sticker on it. Couldn't find what it is exactly scootin around the web. I'm thinkin it's a broadcaster maybe. Got a yellow and black lead wires reading about 6.8K. any help id'ing is appreciated

Re: Tele bridge ID help

Usually the presence of a yellow / black wire combination means that the pup is RWRP, while white / black means normal pup.

Ya, I've had a broadcaster before and I know they normally have the 1B sticker, (B for bridge, don't know what the R would be for). I assume that they are cloth wires. They look like it and I didn't think that SD put out a telecaster bridge pick up with leads plastic coated. I've posted the 2 pics I've got of it. I've never heard of the black and yellow indicating reverse wound either. Not sayin it ain't so, just new to me.
Appreciate the help so far

B for Broadcaster, Duh! of course. I must have had a blond thing goin there. So if the R is for rhythm and assuming that the wires are the thicker, textured plastic wiring, what would this imply about it's specifcallity, (i know that's not a real word) LOL. I'm tending to agree with the thicker plastic coated wires cause on the black wire, one can almost make out a pattern on the coating. As I stated earlier, I didn't think SD used plastic coating on there Telecaster P'ups. When and were were these used? I hope this didn't come from a MIM Fender or a Squire. I know the MIM telecaster P'ups have the plastic coated wiring, but I've not seen one from SD come out of one, but I certainly not seen nor know alot about anything.
appreciate the help here

Re: Tele bridge ID help

OK, so I finally received this P'up in the mail today. It is cloth coverd wiring. The type that can be pulled back. But also, the copper base-plate has 'Made in USA' displayed on it and the lead wires also have a "quick connect" type tip. Mad of brass or maybe copper. I've not used these before, but have heard of them.
So I'm going to throw this in a new build of mine with a new Antiquity in the neck. Am I wastin my time with this bridge? Or does it appear to be a good find?
Appreciate the help
