Clint 55 OH THE DOUBLE THICK GLAZE! Jul 31, 2023 #41 Swamp ash is my favorite tonewood. I like how it's crisp and not overly middy. I prefer it to alder which is middy but even and doesn't cut up the fundamental too much. Swamp ash is also durable and looks nice. Win-win-win.
