Tell me about the TS-9/ TS-808?

Im just curious about these kinda tube screamers. What kind of Overdrive/Distortion do they give you, how does it sound, blah blah blah?
Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with modding a TS-9 to
TS-808 Specs?

its a pretty mild distortion with a midrange boost. perfect for hitting the front end of a low powered tube amp. although, save your $ and buy a TS7 or TS5, which can be modded to sound exactly like the ts9/808s at about 1/3 the cost (or less).
