This Fuzz was made in a short run from Hovercraft, (if you don't know about Hovercraft they are essentially super modded Jet City stuff, most of the time completely rebuilt) this fuzz is the Ionostrofear 2.5, they only made 1.0, 2.0 and 2.5 and now they are discontinued until Hovercraft wants to make more.

it is a very high gain fuzz, your tone can go from regular light fuzz all the way to complete mush, the tone knob on a lower setting makes it less defined and much "fuzzier" when you turn it up it gets a bit clearer sounding, the gain has a LOT of sweep, it can go from like none to wayyyy to much and the volume goes from loud to REALLY loud. But it is a GREAT sounding fuzz, takes a bit of time to get what you want dialed from it but once you find the sweet spot it is 100% worth it.

I am in the UK. Hovercraft products are virtually unheard of over here. I learned something from your post. Thank you.

ah ok, well Hovercraft are essentially super doomy amps/pedals like Sunn amps are used for a lot of doom, hovercraft are also! the amps are like fuzz heaven

My most recent photo. I've since added a Solid Gold FX NOB treble boost to the board. The Marshall Guv'nor is out for now pending the reversal of a mod that I didn't much care for. I've also added a Joyo Vintage Overdrive to the collection to go onto a second board I'm going to start in the near future. Also have a Caline Rock Face Distortion, Puffer Fuzz, Aroma Ocean Verb, and Eno Trouble on the way and a Big Muff clone build in progress. At the rate I'm going, I can probably build Board # 3 soon. Lol

I know must of you cats hate to type or say much, but these threads are so interesting and much more so if one says what the pedals are, I cannot tell many times if I do not know the pedal, or how one runs their chain is of great interest. Being a board freak this is pedal porn at its best. Tell us the who, and how if you can.
I do not have picks of my new rig at the moment but just a pic would not give anyone the idea of how things are routed.

I found the DD-20 too fiddly for my taste, so I'm back to the DD-3. I've been using 1 or 2 of them since 1984 and have now resigned myself to the DD-3 being my delay pedal of choice, probably for the rest of my life.

Instead of a second DD-3, I stuck the Zoom MS-50G in the last spot. It will mostly be doing slapback delay, but will also serve as a Swiss-Army pedal for times when I want something that's not on the board.

Signal path is: Tone Reaper -> BB Preamp -> Phase 90 RI -> Pitchblack -> CE-2 -> BF-2 -> DD-3 -> MS-50G. Pedal Power 2+ is hidden under the deck.

Excellent. I was looking for something that made dirt, but was nothing like the BB Preamp, and this is it. There's a thread about it not too far down.

I have my tone reaper after my BYOC Silver Pony (Klon clone) and cascaded, they're just amazing - I've been really, really happy with the tone reaper.
