So I'm actually using a Leslie 18 in my rig now...yes I tote it everywhere. I've got a few different times I use the "Cold Shot" tone, and one song where I actually crank it up to the leslie organ sound. It's got a wicked/mysterious sound...especially with a 2204 modded by Jeff Seal driving it!

Makes me want to dig out mt eBay Leslie guts from the attic and get started on my DIY-Vibratone project. In faux-Univox-2-tone-blue, of course.

sweet!! there is a club around here that has a 147 under the stage so when ever im there im make them drag it out. they hate me cause the stage is 6' and doesnt have a wide staircase but the tone is killer!

I bet they DO hate you! a 6' stage and you're rig is taking up about 4 feet of it, that was like me on Sat. night. Do you just run your guitar straigh into it.....wait wait.....more importantly why haven't you tried to buy it yet?
