The Fender Stratocaster Club

Re: The Fender Stratocaster Club

Nice! Where did you get the Decal for your White Strat?:smokin:

Wild--I've got nearly the same identical strats. My sunburst has the more creme colored knobs, pickguard covers etc, right down to the tortoise shell pickguard!

My other is a little more on the cream colored side with an image of Hendrix on the pickguard. I also have the aged pickguard covers etc.

Sweet strats!

Re: The Fender Stratocaster Club

Isn't that more like a Sienna Sunburst? When i think tobacco, it's usually a sunburst with a black outer ring. I guess it's just fender being wacky.

It does look like Sienna Sunbust to me, and I actually like it better than the Standard Sunburst.

Re: The Fender Stratocaster Club

Yes, I do actually own a Fender Strat.

I have 2 Fender Strats, but I'll just post my favourite.

2006 MIM. Pearl Pickguard. Oh yes.

Re: The Fender Stratocaster Club

I don't have my pictures uploaded but i only own one strat. My 2004 strat with ash body and maple neck and board. i love the class of 55s in it but i am thinking of getting the dimarzio area 58 for neck and middle slot. It is sienna sunburst and has been signed by yngwie. It has such a beautiful sound to it. I wonder is it swamp ash or northern ash like baseball bats are made of? Anyone know?

Here is my baby. It's a 2003 MIA American Deluxe Fat Strat. Everything is stock right now but I'm probably going to upgrade the neck pickup to a hot noiseless instead of the vintage noiseless that is in it now.

Re: The Fender Stratocaster Club

Yeah, I got a Strat.

I am not completely finished with all my upgrades so I don't have any pics to post yet.

It's a 2004 MIM Standard Satin Strat. SSl-1 (neck), STK-S4 (mid) and Custom Custom bucker (bridge)

I still need to buy a new neck from warmoth (Indian Rosewood) and install new tuning heads on it. Also a new trem soon. Then I will be happy with the guitar.

This is one the most gorgeous note-godesses I have ever seen, I've had a period where I was all hot and bothered for flying V, but I am back to my usual self by animaliscly desiring an olympic white/maple fret board, humbucker StratoQueen as my second strat. Congrats man, fantastic. How does it carry fast single-note-palm-mute riffs on low E and A strings ????

If you're talking about the white fat Strat, that one's Robbiedbee's.

Oh, you right! Robbiedbee the post is redirected to you now, :reporter:

LOL

Thanks man. It really is a beauty.

I find the low E palm mutes to be a bit muddy, but that's probably my amp which causes that. It plays like a dream through a decent tube amp. The chuggy palm mutes sound better with Strats to me, becuase of the tonal qualities of the wood. I find they get a bit lost in the mud on a LP. The A string chugga chugga works really well though. I can play a very very tonally accurate version of 'Bark at the Moon'.
