The Fender Stratocaster is the Ultimate Electric Guitar as per Jeff Beck, David Gilmour, Ritchie Blackmore, Eric Clapton, Robin Trower and Stratcat.:smokin:

And so is the Les Paul per Les Paul, Jeff Beck (ref. tele-gib), Duane Allman, Billie Joe Armstrong, etc. Sorry, we need some balance. I love being a member of the Stratocaster club, but there's really no "ultimate" electric guitar. It's honestly a tie between Stratocaster and Les Paul (and clones), as most every guitar is in some way / shape / form a copy of one of the two, or both.

So anyways, I love my Strat....

You had me up to Billie Joe Armstrong, maybe we can substitute Jimmy Page. Jeff Beck has also used LPs, of course, it doesn't really matter what he plays. On a side note, the first Zepp disc was recorded with a Tele.

I love my Strats. Been playing my '94 American Standard a lot since putting the Texas Specials in. That thing smokes now.

Decided to make a page for my Strats, complete with their specs.

I have a mexican Fender Stratocaster.
I bought it used and really cheap from GC.
Terrible condition, but after a setup it played great!

The Aged Cherry Burst is definitely my favorite Fender finish. Looks much better in person.
