Yeah, not everyone likes Gibson. I understand. But vote anyway. Even if you just like the visual design and dont even know what they sound like. I'm curious.
If I were to have a Gibby and I could afford it it would be an ES. Something with a Florentine cutaway, 2 p90's, 22 frets, thinline, F-holes and string though.
I owned a Howard Roberts Fusion for a few years. Visually, it was amazing. Playing wise, also amazing. However, I got a better jazzy sound out of a solidbody with humbuckers. So I sold it.
It's so hard to pick just one. I've liked Explorers, Les Pauls, SGs, ES-series guitars and now Firebirds. I'll probably want my next guitar to be a ES-335.
Les Paul, but I also like SG, Flying V and Explorer. Lester is more blues or classic hard rock, while V and Explorer are more hard rockers.
My prominent axe is a LP-copy, but I think that I'll get either Sexplorer or Flying V sooner or later.
I don't personally like gibsons cuz I can't get past the neck. But I love Les Paul knock offs like the eclipse because the neck is nicer feeling to me, but still looks great.
