I think they should have just gone with Rich-lite instead of rosewood on this one. Now it looks like Gibson is faking Chinese Gibson fakes - LOL.
They need a more affordable version with P90s as a companion to this one. Staple version would be cool but would drive the price up as these pups are more expensive.
yes!!! +1Some people , myself included , will totally dig this setup....lighter, easier to play for long hrs, leather strap to combat neck dive and/or weights in the control cavity..good to go. What I WOULD do to it, is make it a traditional looking 4 knob setup, ditch the coil tap if that's what it is, and put in the switch pots for that...Maybe eventually also go all nickle hardware...possibilities....
The question is...HOW dos it sound?
Call me crazy but I have never had an issue with the weight of my Les Paul. I have a 9 lb Traditional Pro and I love it.
