The Owlficial Post Your Geetars Thread

Re: The Owlficial Post Your Geetars Thread

Yup, 33. I've had more guitars, but I got rid of some. I've given two away and sold some recently. These days I'm all about fewer guitars and doing more with them.

thanks. Yeah it's tobacco burst. It has no paint - just oiled. It's also reliced quite heavily on the edges.

Re: The Owlficial Post Your Geetars Thread

im curious.. why no clamps?

btw nice sock on that ibanez lol

No clamps on the Wolfie because I never use the trem. It sounds better without them.

I'm surprised you noticed the sock. I was in the middle of redoing something or other and didn't want the bridge to get too far out of whack.

Re: The Owlficial Post Your Geetars Thread

I never got to see how you finished this guitar. Very Nice. :beerchug:

How does it sound now compared to when it was "stock"? I would have finished the sides with tobacco brown and the back a nice amber.

Thanks. It sounds a million times better. It sounds like it's made out of wood now instead of polyurethane. I did finish the sides (and the back) a tobacco brown. The back wood was kind of strange under the veneer; I'm glad I stained it.

These aren't the best pictures, but here's my four '82 G&L, S-500's.

This guitar was played left handed for years which has caused the wear to be on the bottom side of the guitar.

Sprinter

dude, I would kill for your guitars
