I hope my not yet finished pine thing qualifies.

I would certainly think so, but more importantly:

What kind of beer is that? I can't see the label on the bottle! [emoji481]

Granted the tip of the head of this Original Phil Collen Archtop Pro is more rounded than your typical Jackson head...but it's still an Original Phil Collen Archtop Pro.

Yeah, at one time a long time ago the Gibby V was considered pointy, but...

It´s Finnish beer, no wonder you can´t recognize it!

Re: The Pointy, The Whole Pointy, and nothing but the Pointy

That Jackson DK7! Man!

I was this close on buying one about 8 years ago. Didn't pull the trigger and somebody else got it two days after.
Didn't know what model was it until now. The string-thru bridge gives it away inmediately. I remember that was a really nice guitar.

It's kept chasing me for years and I never bothered looking for it. Wow. Nice to see one again.
It's definitely not the most spectacular axe you shared there, but man does that Dinky bring memories back.

And pardon me, but where the **** did you find an import Y2KV? Even the USA model was very short lived. Didn't know there was an import run.
Korea, Japan or Indonesia?

I'm getting close to pulling the trigger on this one:

Japan.

Popped up on Ebay about a year after they were quietly released. Paid $750. Sold it for $650 at the close of open bidding. Last one I saw that sold went for about $1500 IIRC.

As I recall, they were offered in 2 finish choices - black and the USA Flag, and as far as I know only a few dealers had them (Guitar Center, Sam Ash, and probably Musician's Friend), and a black one has never been seen. In fact, I've only seen 3 in the Flag finish. There's no guarantee those were not the same one 3 different times, as I didn't record the serial number.

Personally I did not like the neck. It was way too thin and too wide for my taste, but that was also the problem with the KV-2. I liked the neck on the Mustaine Pro, and the KV-3, and the Ash King V, which were more rounded and a bit thicker.

As well, it suffered from the same problem of almost every tuneomatic import Jackson I've ever had - the bridge was at such a shallow angle that I could not get the low E to intonate properly. It needed just a hair more range to get it "in" above the 12th. I didn't go there often, but when I did, I wanted it to be in. It wasn't.
Ultimately I would have preferred it be Floyded.

I also did not care too much for the light brown rosewood board, and would have preferred to find a maple-boarded replacement, though obviously it would not have had the round head, which I wanted. In the end, there were more things I'd have changed about it than things I liked about it, so it went out the door.
