De Niro or Pacino
you ask the impossible. pick a movie that both of them are in and ill chose whos my fave from that movie.
You've worked in the guitar field for a while but really seem to dig the art work.
Any thoughts on moving more into that?
If so in what way?
id love to. my plans were to become an art prof. and teach art history. after i got my associate of arts i bailed on school. i have a lot to learn in the luthier world. so, for now. im staying put.

If you made a 'Stonabus Breedlove Model,' list the shape, style, woods, and general specs.

Basically, you get several weeks in the shop to use all their materials to create your dream acoustic.

im actually doing that right now....

jumbo
non-cutaway
walnut back
cocobolo rosewood sides
myrtlewood top
koa binding
koa soundhole rosette
mahogany neck
cocobolo fretboard
cocobolo bridge
cocobolo headstock veneer
mammoth tooth nut and saddle

here is the coolest part....

the neck is going to be a 000 style neck, what i mean by that, is the neck will meet the body at the 12 fret as opposed to the 14th. this will change the location of the bridge, to the fatter part of the lower bout. it will have an interesting sound, im hoping.

no one has done that at the shop yet.

so far i have the top and the back joined, and ready to be braced.
i found some koa for the rosette and joined that as well.

Re: The Well LIV: stonabus vs. subanots

That guitar sounds like quite the project--have any pictures of it yet?

If you could have one super power what would it be?

What is the craziest/most beautiful guitar you have seen Breedlove make?(well, I guess second craziest after the one you are making:fing2:)

What is the most important piece of knowledge you have gained from being on this forum? (about music, art, or life in general)

4. buying my first pickup, brought me here. learning how to change pickups was the beginning. it helped me get a job at breedlove, if you can believe that.

Re: The Well LIV: stonabus vs. subanots

Thanks for adding all that artwork! Now the thread's headed where it should be....so keep it going. I'm glad to have seen some of the ones I hadn't seen before, like the blonde Ca. skater kid, and even your skateboard!
