Hell yeah! We're ALL adopted here, even I'm Spanish.
But it does take some good Aussie sunshine and beer to refine that
raw Scottish talent. Jimmy Barnes from Cold Chisel and his brother Swannee,
both great pub rock singers are also from your way.

Saturday we had the highest temperature ever recorded
in an Australian capital city, 46.4 Celcius about 115 Farenheit.
This was the day that the terrible bush fires started that
have so far taken over 170 lives and many people still unaccounted for.
The following day it dropped to 23 Celcius! and has been arout 20
the last few days with a shower or two, which has helped the firefighters.
In the north of the country we've had over three feet of rain
over that last few weeks in some places and major floods have
isolated many large towns and communities.
A land of extremes!

It's my surname - Saldana - Tellez, and will stands for Guillermo.
Spanish Saldana and Moorish Tellez.
Though I,ve since found out that Saldana was a sefardic Jewish name
that existed for one of our tribes prior to the "Inquisition" and granted
lands in Castille before the expulsion of the Moors from Spain, Iberia.
Though I've lived 44 out of 45 years in Australia, I'm still a Spaniard,
however, I'd be the first to sign up and defend this place if required,
a bit like the "Australian Foreign Legion".
Hell, my dad became a citizen of Australia last week at age 75!
