My last vehicle sprung a leak in the sunroof and I was never able to figure out where. I had the roof sealed, cleaned the gutters, did everything I could think of.
But no matter what I did, when it rained the headliner would get wet and drip onto the drivers seat and floor. It was miserable sitting in cold water or having to bring a towel to sit on. And man, the stink after awhile was unbearable. Every time it rained I had to take the car to the car wash and vaccum the sitting water off of the floor.
Someone suggested that it might of had something to do with the windshield.
I was at my wits end and it seemed plausible. The question was how would I go about replacing it and not doing so for alot of cash because the car was really near the end of its run.
On Halloween night I got loaded and handed a shovel to one of my friends and told them to smash it. I just couldn't bring myself to do it to my own car.
He seem confused at first but them it was like I had given him the greatest gift of his life.
He leaned into it and slammed the shovel dead-center in and put a huge crack and a small hole in it.
Whenever I see him now he offers to repeat the favor.
