I love Sweetwater as well, but their copy is regularly mangled... I contacted them once when they had described compressors totally incorrectly and sr editor did return my email to admit the goof...
The challange with marketing is words have search value and wow value as well as the actual meaning that have to be balanced.. and if the writter doesn't understand the product, they can generate lots of hits... even sales, based on high excitement words that have limitted or inaccurate meaning.
