I located a '87 12/6 doubleneck Gibson... going to pick it up soon...
I haven't felt this excited in awhile....(last guitar purchase wasn't really a purchase at all, traded a pair of Gibson PU's for my '57 Les Paul Junior.... ..long story).

This is the first time in a very long time I've actually "looked" for something rather than have it fall in my lap. This may indeed become "addictive"...

Sounds killer man!!. Believe it or not, I found a great deal on a new doubleneck. I'm doin my best not to buy it, but who knows. What color did you get?

Oh yeah, I think we all have the time for the long story on the Gibson pickups and the LP Jr.

I had a chance to buy a white one for a song many many moons ago, and didn't..now with the prices I see for them, it jes about makes me cry.

Gotta play some STH on it LOL....I used to go into music stores when I was younger and the first thing I would play are parts of STH, Eruption & Smoke on the Water in rapid succession jes to annoy the crap out of the employees...I'd get all kinds of looks and finally say "jes kiddin"...salespeople always responded pretty well after I did that...god knows most salespeople in music stores are jerks til ya get on their good side.
