Well of course programming a rack effect will surely be more complicated than turning just a couple of knobs on your pedals but it is not something impossible to do and you don't need to be a nuclear scientist to understand it. Same thing applies with MIDI.....The advantages of using a good rack unit are worth the pain......better delays/reverbs (most delay/reverb pedals cannot compete with good rack units......) endless programmability, you can change patches with various effects and various settings in them by just pressing one pedal instead of messing with the knobs on your pedals and you have a real time control over most effect parameters......................................GO RACK
