Thank God this one's pretty obvious. There are so many fake guitars being sold on E Bay now. It's not so easy to tell with some of them.
I have a buddy who owns a guitar shop. A local, independent guitar shop. The ones we all talk about supporting, because we don't wanna see them all go under, and because they support their customers. Anyway he just fell victim to the fake guitar scam. What's worse is the guy who brought the guitar in is a buddy of the owner. He got the guitar on E Bay, probably realized it was fake, and sold it to the guitar shop under the pretense that it was a $2000 USA made guitar.
That's the sad thing. The scary thing is when the owner showed me the guitar, until he pointed out a couple of things on it, and I looked at it closely, I wouldn't have noticed it was fake right away.
