Ok, so after looking at a bunch of SG's because I have a bad case of SG gas, I came up with this crazy thought.
The space in between the end of the fretboard and the neck pickup on the sg is kinda big. Is it big enough to add two more frets? Making the neck have 24 frets. Pretty much the idea I have is to take a piece of Rosewood(Or whatever the board is made of) and add two frets to it. Then screwing that piece of wood to where that little piece of plastic would be. Would that even work?? Could you simply screw on this piece of wood with those two extra frets onto the end of the fretboard to make the neck a have 24 frets(of course they would be placed in the right spot if it could work).
