3d printed plugs turnes out great. They thread into the inserts and are the same diameter as the outer lip to mask them]
They will leave a ridge when you take them out. Tape is better.
By the way - what kind of epoxy? They aren't all alike, and don't all work well as a sealer.
I am unfamiliar with that brand.

Got a black pearl blank and made a pickguard this evening. I went black but it had to have pearl. I love the look.
Warmoth couldn't tell me for sure if the Nomad pickguard would match the "explore" from 2003, plus with shipping it was $50+.
I need to do a little more trimming and sanding, but it turned out pretty good for < $20 with material leftover.
It's from Urechem. Group of Engineers from PPG that decided to start their own company several years back.
