tone pot woes

So i'm wiring my full shred in my ibanez (2 hum, 2 vol, tone, 3 way, 2 split) and my tone pot does the reverse of what it should do. On the 'zero' setting i get the treble heavy sound i should get on the 'ten' setting. And i get lots of bass when it is on 'ten'. I've checked all of the wiring numerous times and the only other solution i could think of is a faulty capacitor?

Anyone know how to fix this?

Re: tone pot woes

One of your connections to your tone pot goes to the center lug. The other connection goes to one of the outer lugs. One lug isn't used. Take the outer lug connection and move it to the unused one.

The caps fine. You hooked it up backwards. ;)

Exactly. But if it was a lefty guitar, it would be perfect :laugh2:

Tone pot? I don't need no stinkin' tone pot!
Seriously, I unhook the tone controls in all my guitars.
