Toneport ux1 or ux2?

The main thing I'm looking at about choosing between the two is the inputs. The ux2 has phantom power, but the ux1 does not. I plan to just get a sm57 for recording some vocals and guitar amp recording. I'm pretty sure the sm57 does not need phantom power, but what else would need to use it. I don't know much about phantom power, but I think I remember something like condensers use them.

Guys I wondering what your opinions on what I should get. The ux2 has a high and low input for guitars on it, but I have no use for it because I just use passive pickups. But I'm still unsure about the phantom power thing.

Unless you're planning to use a condenser microphone in your setup, you shouldn't need phantom power.
