Tribute to British Tone.

Re: Tribute to British Tone.

Sorry to hear of Ken Fischer's passing. That man did so much for our community. It's too bad we couldn't keep him longer than we did.

I use these amps with either a 1970s Orange cab with 2 Greenbacks and 2 McKenzie speakers, a Marshall 1936 2x12 with the stock 75w Celestions or an Awad Session 1x12 cab with a Celestion Classic Lead 80 speaker (the 1x12 cab with the Carlsbro is my 'favourite' rig at the minute).

I apologise for the less than great pics, our camera isn't very good and I suck at taking photos! :D

Re: Tribute to British Tone.

Re: Tribute to British Tone.

I put these on the wrong post earlier! Anyway, here's some of my past and present... all the Marshalls (and Boogies!) have gone, still got the Cornfords and the Mongotone 4 x 10 solid ribbon figured mahogony cab (built by an American guy living in Scotland.. lol), check out www.mongotone.co.uk, Marc will build pretty much any cab you want and will offer good, sound advice whether you buy one of his or not! Needless to say I'll be dealing with him again, a 2 x 12 next time though. A WORD OF WARNING IF YOU BUY ONE OF THESE CABS: YOUR BANDMATES WILL BRING VASES, ORNAMENTS AND POLISH TO YOUR GIGS!!!!!!
