anyone use these Tung Sol EL34B?
eventually when i buy new power tubes for my DSL100 i was thinking about getting these. either these or the winged c's-which i literally cant find a thing soncially wrong with them, they may be the perfect EL34.
but ive read random posts over the past 2 years and people say the Tung-Sol EL34B are great for harmoic overtones, great for power chords and such.
and after much time with my preamp tubes, ill say the tung sol 12ax7 in v1 is the best thing you can do for a amp. for a long time i thought my sovtek lps was the right way to go in v1 making it bigger and fuller, but it actually backs down the saturation and tightness overall but increases the volume so you think its working but its not actually. you live you learn, but the LPS in PI is the best it gets it makes it pan and sound more 3D. amazing if you A/B with other tubes in the PI.
ok off topic there for a little bit.
thanks do0ds for any help!
