Depends on how much "I" you've "DY'ed".
I don't think changing to a 3-prong on a SS amp is nearly as important as on a tube amp, but proabably still a good idea.

Whether its tube or solid state isn't the relevant part, its the fact that it plugs into the wall that is - it is equally important in either case.
