Two quick Seth clips

Re: Two quick Seth clips

Good morning Rid! How are you doing? I'm having some work problems these days so I haven't had time to record. The way things are going, it looks like I shall have PLENTY of time to record in the near future.....:)

Re: Two quick Seth clips

Oh...like getting yourself fired??
Hmm then you can record more of that good stuff for us:D
Sitting here with my coffee....the kids are busy, hehe and wishing that I had some way of recording at home.

Re: Two quick Seth clips

Looks like it....I'll know for sure next week.

Unfortunately, when you work in some areas of high-tech, there ar too many dot.com boys who became managers and their ego is far greater than their abilities. They can be a problem sometimes.

My 14-month old son woke me up a 06:00 with a big smile on his face so I now zombie-ing on the web.

Coffee.....? That sounds good, I think I'll go for some (more).....

Lol oh my I forgot about big ego types....we are so laid back at our work that it is sometimes criminal :laugh2:
Never could along with such types, could never keep my mouth shut when encountering such persons..oh my hehe.
Time for more coffee :burnout:
Man I hope that something will work out for you.

Re: Two quick Seth clips

Hey marin, how much did you Engl Screamer cost you? BTW, great tone and clips again.

Re: Two quick Seth clips

Whoa that first tune is a blues shred - fantastic tone and chops Marin!
The 2nd jazzy tune has a nice flow and the fidelity of the tune is really clean. You remind me of Jeff Baxter on this one.

I am convinced that the Seth Lovers can do anything with the right equipment and player :)

They're around 1000 Euro's + 100 Euro for the footswitch (optional).

I think I saw them going for around 1000$ at a US dealers site.

The Screamer is one of their cheaper amps, but it's what I need. They have the full-blown high-tech amps like Savage SE and others which are geared towards high gain (metal) stuff. The Screamer is a blues-rock amp.

thanks

Thanks,

I was getting a bit rusty so I just let my fingers go. Seths are cool! :cool3:

I love that kind of distortion you're getting, it's what I need. You have a link to that US site you speak of?

Re: Two quick Seth clips

BTW, you have any experience with their Thunder 50 combo? What kind of gain/tones does that thing churn out?

Yes. It is similar to the Screamer (actually it's predecessor) but it does not have any reverb. Also the channels are distributed so neatly as on the Screamer. The Screamer also has a balanced output for recording.

The price difference is so small that I would really go for the Screamer.

Re: Two quick Seth clips

Yeah definitely go for the screamer, but check out and hear both in case you really prefer the thunder.

Im just about to listen to you clips Marin...and am looking forward to it :D

Re: Two quick Seth clips

WOW! Just listened to the blues clip :11:

Absolutely amazing! Your playing and tone is just incredible as far as im concerned.

The seths sound great! Were you using the bridge in that clip, or the neck or both?

Now for the jazz clip ;)
