Another lucky find that I won't actually have until next month. I've lusted for one of these for awhile now.
And I know the real reason Paul Gilbert flipped the Iceman upside-down. It makes the phallus point in a more... promising direction.

Nice Destroyer, and it is very funny to me that you mentioned that. I've got an orange burst MIJ myself. (I don't have any pictures handy, but this *is* an Iceman thread anyway so...) I love the Destroyer body - something about how many comfortable ways there are to sit or stand with that body style. Some of those classic ones have some roaring pickups in them.

Yes like a mutant Strat ( for a lack of a better way to put it). I have become an Ibanez fan. It is really ironic this was one brand I did not like, and never saw my self playing one, until a few years back.

I like that the pickups are reverse tilted, you know, the way it makes sense to have them.

That is about the only current solidbody Ibamez I would buy. I would probably change out the pickups though....super D single size, FS1 in the neck, class of 55 middle...
But the old Racer X DestroyerII/iceman was the coolest by a wide margin of Pauls weird Ibanez models.
