Um, wait what?!

I was just on guitarfetish.com and they sell lipstick tube pickups. Whatever happened to WD Music's trademark on them? Has it expired? Are they a sister company of sorts, so the trademark was passed down? I'm confused.

They didnt invent the lipstick pup. They somehow managed to claim a 5 year exclusive use in commerce patent/trademark, whatever. Either way, i think its expired now.

I'm very well aware the didn't invent it, but I knew they held a trademark/copyright. I was unaware it had expired though, which I'm extremely happy to see. Maybe now we can get some great Lipstick pickups coming from a certain manufacturer whom we all seem to love.
