valveking 112 valve combo as a head??

Hey
i have just bought a Marshall M412B 300w 4X12 cab 16ohm, i was wondering if it is safe to use my peavey valveking 112 50 watt as a head? ( untill i can save up for a new head )

yea, it should. There should be a speaker cable that runs from the amp to the speaker that you should just be able to swap over, or probably even an extension jack on the back. Just make sure you change your ohms to the proper setting.
