Hey hey hey - just because you suck and need lessons doesn't mean we can't be friends!

:D;)

Nothing could ever be better than "L:(L"

Oh, Sosomething! Teach me to shred like you! You are the shred king of the forum!

We, the people of the Seymour Duncan forum, hold these truths to be self-shredvident. :cool2:

I................................... was just kidding.

Yer still reading my stuff incorrectly.

It's 2008? Correct. It's not 1987 anymore? Correct.

VHT.Doesn't.Make.An.Amp.That.Does.The.Stuff.I.Want.It.To.

Do you get that, TheAbomb12?

You just keep telling me that I'm a "fool" for saying that it can't do modern metal.

Do you know what WIT is?

My posts are filled with it, L:(L.

Wow, as if Jimmy's strong presence in the GIF thread of yonder wasn't enough, his artistic flair in his posts in this thread completely sealed the deal. I'm really speechless. All I can say is thank you Jimmy. I've not laughed so hard at someone's posts in a long time. Well played sir, well played...

:laugh2:

P.S. And for the record, rock the WIT Jimmy. Rock it good.

I would love to teach you to be as amazing as me, but unfortunately my skill was bestowed upon me by a Taoist priest high upon a Tibetan mountaintop. I studied under him for years, never making much progress, and then one day he was gone. He had died in his sleep.

I came upon him in the morning - sunlight seeping through the seams of his hand-sewn curtains in the back of his hut, laying morning's faint stripes across the craggy topography of his aged face - He looked so peaceful. The total oblivion he had sought so diligently in life had finally found him in death. I cried.

Tears of loss, of grief, but also those of joy, because I knew he had gone willingly and his soul was once again part of the earth. I could feel him in the air, in the mountain, and even in the crude thatch walls and roof of his hut. It was as if his spirit had seeped into the fabric of the place, and his benevolence bathed the mountain in an effulgent glow, illuminating my soul as much as the gentle morning light illuminated my surroundings.

So then I ate his body.

Tasted like pork.

Lots of gristle.

And I was imbued with his otherworldly shredding prowess (also, his tapeworm).

So sorry - I can't help you. Find your own mountain monk to eat.

Liar, you killed him because in the end, there can be only one! Shredlander.

Edit: Actually the "eating" part of your story reminds me of Brian Lumley's "Necroscope".

Much love goes out!
Theabomb12:-

I love you!

Yeah, I saw the Soldano site before and I wanted to cry!

...but VHT is very close.

I wonder what it is with the low-tech sites.

It's like they say: "Yeah, we built amps that are built like tanks -- What? Flash Websites? What the heck is that? Is that, like, one of those new polaroid cameras?"

OMG, WTF0rz, GTFO, n00bz!

Don't you guize see the irony in this? They build the most PRO amps, yet have the most n00b websites! HAHAHAHAHAHALOLOLOTEOL!

Srsly. . . I could go to a Jr. High School, and ten kids could crank out a better Myspace page in 15 minutes, L:(L!

Hahaha, Soldano. . . someone told me that he was going out of business.

Re: VHT Have updated their site.... sorta.

I'm trying to understand what caused this drastic shift in your posting habits.

You were not always this way. There are threads where you're calmly debating the differences between Duncan and Bill Lawrence pickups, etc. Normal guy.

Then one day- wham- jacked.

Did you catch a fly ball in the dome or something? :)

Re: VHT Have updated their site.... sorta.

I'm normally the king of thread hi-jacking, but you guys outshine even me. Lol.

Re: VHT Have updated their site.... sorta.

I got up feeling so down
I got off being sold out
Ive kept the movie rolling
But the storys getting old now
I just looked in the mirror
Things arent looking so good
Im looking california
And feeling minnesota
So now you know, who gets mystified
Show me the power child
Id like to say
That Im down on my knees today
It gives me the butterflies
Gives me away
Till Im up on my feet again
Im feeling outshined
Someone let the dogs out
Theyll show you where the truth is
The grass is always greener
Where the dogs are shedding
Im feeling that Im sober
Even though Im drinking
I cant get any lower
Still I feel Im sinking
So now you know who gets mystified
Show me the power child
Id like to say
That Im down on my knees today
It gives me the butterflies
Gives me away
Till Im up on my feet again
Im feeling outshined
