Those sound very good. Great playing as well! Wounder how they would work with a HB in the bridge? Say a JB, 59/C, or 78?

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread but ...

I just assembled an STK-10b, SSL-52 RPRW, STK-10n trio of pickups onto a pickguard using the SD/Bourns pot and my own favourite Tone control combination. I am not a Malmsteen fan but I must confess myself highly impressed with the Fury pickups.

The video demo shows some excellent high speed playing but I find the tone of one single coil and one (non-spilt) Stack in selector switch positions 2 and 4 more convincing than the equivalent sound on the video.

Noise-cancellation versus "cluck" is always a compromise. I'll tolerate some noise to retain the cluck, thank you.
