Wanna find a wierd pickup - can anyone help?

Hi folks, I'm a newbie here :) I play an epiphone dot (335) and it's not bad, but pickups are a bit dull. SO i'm a big fan of Oasis :smack: and wanted to get a mini-humbucker in the bridge - brighter, tighter sound i think BUT a little pickup in a big space ain't a good thing. SO is there anywhere I can get a humbucker that sounds like a minihumbucker or, better yet, a mini in a full HB cover? (like the Phat Cat is a p90 style pickup in a full HB cover)

Any help would be cool, cheers!

Hey man first and foremost WELCOME to the forum!

Now to answer your questions. The Duncan custom shop could do that for you. I think you can get close to the Oasis sound with a 59 or for more output a C5. My dad has a 69 LP deluxe with minis and they are bright and punchy, they are more scooped leading me to believe they used A5 magnets, thus I am recommending these pups.

The 59 is a PAF tone with a scooped mid and big bass and treble. Lew (one of the dealers on the forum) is a fan of the 59TB or trembucker.

The C5 is like an overwound version of the 59 more volume, output etc.

Hope this helps some man!

I had a Semi-hollow LP style Ibanez and it had a screamin demon in the bridge. That was the guitar I always turned to for playing Oasis. The Demons growl went well with a semi-hollow jangle. Especially at medium distortion.
